Dr. Patel is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, completed his Medical School and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at LSUHSC-Shreveport where he also completed a Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery, as well as a Fellowship in Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery.

They understand the unique challenges and complexities associated with head and neck reconstruction.
